Collaboration sits at the heart of my practice. Through large-scale participatory textile projects, I work with communities, museums and organisations to explore stories of place, identity, heritage and belonging.
Each project invites participants to contribute their voices through slow stitching, transforming personal reflections and shared histories into ambitious collaborative artworks. From community quilts and embroidered banners to narrative textiles and installations, these works celebrate collective creativity while creating space for conversation, learning and connection.
Participants often bring their own memories, research, cultural traditions and experiences into the making process. The resulting textiles become powerful shared documents — celebrating communities, preserving stories and strengthening connections between people and place.
Below you’ll find a selection of past projects created in collaboration with communities, museums and cultural organisations across the UK.
