I am passionate about helping museums and individuals treasure and preserve textile heritage enabling the sharing of stories for generations to come.
Services for Museums
For museums I provide support with collection assessment, archival projects, costume consultancy, research services, interpretation and engagement activities. I am conversant with spectrum requirements and can provide practical support, training and advice.

Services for Private Collectors & Individuals
For individuals and private collectors I provide a personal and confidential service, assessing collections and heirloom objects, carrying out preventative conservation measures and advising on practical, affordable solutions to at home storage and preservation. The personal stories attached to heirloom objects are central to their emotional and financial value, I therefore provide documentation and research services to ensure that the stories contained within and attached to objects are shared with future generations. My work focuses on clothing and decorative textiles but at times encompasses related objects such as dolls, fans and women’s accessories. Ranging from large private collections with dedicated storage units to singular precious heirloom items stored at home (but not in the loft please!), I love working with collections of all types and sizes.
